pediatric sensory gym

At Wild Roots OT, our pediatric sensory gym is much more than a place to play, it's a carefully designed therapeutic environment where children build the foundational skills they need for everyday life.

Every swing, climbing structure, crash pad, and obstacle course has a purpose. Guided by the principles of Ayres Sensory Integration®, our gym provides meaningful sensory experiences that help children process movement, balance, body awareness, and coordination in ways that support healthy brain development.

A Space Designed for Growth

Our specialized sensory gym supports children as they develop:

  • Balance and coordination

  • Strength and posture

  • Motor planning

  • Body awareness

  • Emotional regulation

  • Attention and focus

  • Confidence and independence

By combining movement, play, and sensory experiences, we help children build the strong foundation they need to participate more successfully at home, at school, on the playground, and in everyday life.

At Wild Roots OT, we believe children learn best when they feel safe, connected, and free to explore. Our motor gym is designed to do exactly that—creating joyful experiences that support lifelong growth.

Purposeful Play

To a child, therapy feels like play.

To an occupational therapist, every activity is intentionally chosen to provide the "just right challenge"—helping children develop new skills while building confidence and having fun.

Our therapists carefully adapt each session based on your child's unique strengths, interests, and sensory needs, making every visit engaging, meaningful, and child-led.
